About AKJ

I love music. And sounds. And the possibilities that the use of digital technologies opens up. I have been a »music freak« since my youth and listen to a wide range of music in various genres (from classical to alternative to electronic). The main thing is that the music is interesting and grabs me emotionally and/or intellectually. And that's exactly what I what to achieve with my own music. I have made music with others in various constellations and have also been active as a DJ (the highlight was a performance at the »Live Ball« in the Vienna City Hall). Together with Kirstie Handel, I wrote several children's plays and composed/produced the stage music. But my interest for art as a means of expression does not stop there. For example, I was a member of the board of the Münchner Literaturbüro for many years and was involved in projects at the Kunstverein München, the Kunstverein Salzburg and the Künstlerhaus Stuttgart.

My main job, however, was in social research for over 20 years (look at https://www.power-xs.net/jain). But I recently decided to focus more on my passion for music and sound. One element of this is that I present my own musical projects here and would also like to support others in finding the right music for their theater play, their film, their product, etc. Additionally, I offer services in mixing/mastering (backed up by an Audio Diploma course at HOFA) on akj-music.de.
